- GENERAL CONDITIONS
a. Chassis: Provided by the circuit and non-homologated. Each driver will be provided with only one chassis throughout the event.
b. The SingaporeKarts Sprint Series 2018 is a 2 race per round sprint event with one(1) driver per kart. Each registered driver may only compete in one of the two weight classes.
c. Race 1 starting grid based on the qualifying session. Drivers will be arranged in sequence on the grid starting with the driver with the fastest timing in the qualifying session. Grid positions will be arranged regardless of class entered.
d. Race 2 starting grid based on reverse order of Race 1 finishing results.
e. Drivers who damage his/her kart will bear the cost of repair

Entries will be limited to the first 20 persons only.
Entry fee RM480 / S$165 per team. Entries will not be considered unless accompanied with the entry fees.

- TRACK INFORMATION

Length of the track: Varies according to chosen track layout
- TECHNICAL REGULATIONS
Fuel will be supplied by the circuit.
All kart parts will be supplied by the circuit.
The adding or removal of material from the engines including any modifications without the authorization from the organizer is strictly forbidden.
d. All damaged parts must be replaced with standard original parts or as supplied by the circuit. All engine parts must be fitted according to the manufacturers’ guidelines. Any evidence of parts being tampered with would result in the disqualification of the team involved.
- RACE START
a. Start of the race will be a standing start, staggered grid. Pole position will be on the right side of the grid.
b. One(1) warm up lap will be carried out from the dummy grid before the actual race start.
- STOPPING ON TRACK
a. Should a kart stop or display discernable malfunction, the team will be allowed to pit and swap to a spare kart on the condition that driver error/accident did not cause the malfunction.
b. Spare karts are limited and on a first come first serve basis. No provision will be made should the track run out of spare karts. Onus is on the team to ensure their kart lasts the duration of the race.
c. Should a kart stop on track and ne unable to continue, the driver is to remove the transponder, return to the pit, and install the same transponder onto the replacement kart before continuing the race.
d. In the event of damage to the kart, repairs will be carried out in the pit lane by appointed track officials only. The kart will only be allowed to resume racing upon approval by the track officials.
7. FLAGS and FLAG POSTS
Flag posts are allocated at Start/Finish line and Pit entry
We will be using Red (Session Ended), Yellow (Caution, do not overtake), Green (End of a caution period) and Black flags (Immediate Disqualification)
– Unsportsmanlike behavior: Penalty will be determined by event organizer/steward.
– Infringement of regulations and procedures: Penalty will be determined by event organizer/steward.
– Fighting: Disqualification
9. DURATION OF THE EVENT
Number of laps will be stated by the organizer for each race. Distance raced will be between 10km to 15km long. The chequered flag will be shown once the first driver completes the stipulated number of laps. All other drivers are to pass the chequered flag only once and return to the pit immediately.
THE DRINKING OF ANY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR INTOXICATION BY ANY OTHER MEANS (e.g. NARCOTICS) IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN AND ANY DRIVER AND CREW FOUND GUILTY OF SUCH AN OFFENCE WILL BE IMMEDIATELY EXCLUDED FROM THE COMPETITION AND REMOVED FROM THE TRACK. THE ORGANISER RESERVES THE RIGHTS TO CONDUCT DOPING TESTS AS PER CIK MEDICAL GUIDELINES.
Top 3 Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 drivers of each class for each race.
Fastest time of the day trophy will be awarded to the fastest driver for the day.
Finisher trophies will be awarded to the rest of the drivers.
10.00am – 11.00am: Drivers Sign-In, Briefing & Assignment of Karts
11.00am – 11.10am: Qualifying (10mins)
11.20am – 11.30am: Race 1 (8 Laps)
11.45am – 12.00pm: Race 2 (12 Laps)
12.20pm – 1.00pm: Prize Presentation
12. POINTS SYSTEM
Points issued per class for each race will follow as below:

Class 1: 70kg and below
Class 2: Above 70kg

Registration opens 1 month before event date.
Round 1: 13 May 2018 (Registration closes 7 May 2018)
Round 2: 1 Jul 2018 (Registration closes 24 Jun 2018)
Round 3: 09 Sep 2018 (Registration closes 2 Sep 2018)
Round 4: 4 Nov 2018 (Registration closes 28 October 2018)
